"My family of six ate a vegan diet for two years, due to the inhumane practice of factory farming and the poor quality meat available. We started eating meat and dairy again two years ago, and have enjoyed sourcing quality dairy and meat and supporting ethical farmers. We are all enjoying meat again and we consider the higher prices 'health insurance.' We had an Emmer & Co. pasture raised slow-growth chicken tonight. Wow. Just wow. The absolute tastiest chicken we've ever eaten. My youngest son, Edward, was weaned vegan, and is not a big meat eater....he was chewing every last bit of skin and meat!
